Where You'll Work
Our Affton, MO location is part of our Sweet Division and creates all kinds of tasty treats! In this confectionery site, we make chocolate and cocoa coated sweets, and fillings for other bakery products.
What You'll Do
The Production Supervisor 3rd shift role is fundamental to our manufacturing team. You’ll be overseeing operations at the site on 3rd shift (10pm-7am, M-F) with 30 employees. If you are independent and can identify key issues and identify solutions, we need you for this role.
You’ll collaborate with other teams, coordinating production activities with procurement, production, engineering and quality control departments to achieve minimal downtime/failures. We strongly believe in safety for our employees, products, and customers. On a high level, you'll:
Keep your team safe and communicate safety awareness to all employees
Partner with the quality assurance team
Manage the manufacturing process and ensure shop floor presence at all times
Develop your team and use effective communication so all employees have a voice
Continuously improve performance based on key performance indicators
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree is preferred OR high school diploma or GED plus 8 years of experience
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment food or beverage experience is preferred
3+ years managing an operations team
Work 3rd shift (10-7am, M-F)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge with computer applications such as SAP, Excel, Word, MAPICS, LIMS
