GDIT is seeking a Data Architect to provide O365 SharePoint Online support for an exciting new contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS). NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract funding.
Successful candidate provides applied subject matter expertise to high level analysis, collection, assessment, migration, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation, and implementation. Resolves problems which require an intimate knowledge of the related technical subject matter. Applies principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions.
Responsibilities include the following:
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project teams and across functional units (where appropriate), while serving asakey coordinator betweenmultiplecustomers and multiple project teams to document and implement new initiatives
Assists inSharePoint design and implementation of environment and sitearchitecture,STIG application and system hardening,andfile system structures
Assists witharchitecture andimplementation ofnew solutions approved for integration into the O365 environment as pertains to SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business
Oversees and assists with assessments, documentation, and presentation ofresults tocustomersin preparation for migrations of their current SharePoint, OneDrive, and File shares into O365 and SharePoint Online
Workswithproject teamsand customersto plan, document,oversee and/or assist withmigrations ofcustomerdatainto SharePoint Online, Teams, andOneDrivefor Business
Assistswith testing, management, and reporting ofnew and existingcapabilities inSharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business
Workswith theSharePoint Developersas neededtoassist withdesignofappropriate solutionsto meetcustomerneeds andexpectations
Participates in team andcustomerinteractionstoanalyze,design, and documentSharePoint solutionsand architecturesuited to specific business needsand processes
Providesinput intoSharePoint technologies training and best practice guidancedocumentation as needed
Providesresponses for other team members in support of end user support requests as needed

Active DoD Secret clearance
Level II 8570 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
Bachelors Degreein Computer Scienceorequivalentfield (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)
6 years of experience
Expertisein Cloud, Azure, MS Office 365 environmentswith emphasis on SharePoint Online
ExpertisewithArchitecture ofMicrosoft SharePoint 2013/2016 On-PremFarms, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams
Expertisewith multiple SharePoint assessment and migration tools (i.e.AvePoint, Metalogix, etc.)
High proficiency with complex migrations into SharePoint Online
High proficiency with PowerShell scripting in support of SharePoint management and migrations
Exceptional analytical andproblemsolvingskills
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
