The Boeing Company F-22 DevOps Associate Software Engineer in Berkeley, Missouri
The Boeing Company is currently seeking an F-22 DevOps Associate Software Engineer to join the F-22 Mission Systems group to support the Operational Flight Program (OFP) build system that is located in St. Louis, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
The candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of the next generation of the system, support the current system by enhancing the tool sets execute the delivery of the OFP as well as the actual execution of the tools.
Development of processes, scripts and code to support the new OFP procedures
Work with system architect to design the generation 4 of the system
Coordinate with suppliers, customer and other development teams
Build and release OFPs for lab, flight and fleet use
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Pre-Start).
Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Pre-Start)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
2 years of experience in software development
2 years’ experience with Linux, C#, and C/C+ Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, and priorities
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master)
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
This position is located in St. Louis, MO and offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
