Hunter Engineering Company is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of computer based automotive service equipment. We are in search of an enthusiastic and self motivated Junior or higher to support assembly operations through time and motion studies, workflow analysis, optimization of manufacturing processes, work instruction documentation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Improve product flow using Kaizen events, plant rearrangement, assembly cell design, etc.
Verify production rates through use of time trials
Create and maintain work instructions for process improvements and engineering changes
Plant layout drawing maintenance
Identify improvement opportunities and generate possible solutions for all areas of the manufacturing process
Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum 2.5 GPA
General time and motion studies knowledge
Proficient with AutoCAD 2D drafting
Working knowledge for MS Excel, PowerPoint
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL REQUIRED:
Currently enrolled at the level of Junior or higher as an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering student at an ABET accredited program.
