The Database Developer II is responsible for developing and supporting SQL Server database solutions within both the production and development environments.
90% - Create, troubleshoot, and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.
10% - Debug and modify SSIS packages and SSRS reports and design/configure reporting services using RS configuration manager.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experienced with Transact-SQL and stored procedures.
Some experience with SSRS/SSIS
Knowledge managing multiple MS SQL Server databases on large systems.
Knowledge in monitoring and tuning databases.
Preferred: Knowledge of .NET and legacy applications that interact with SQL.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database development.
Basic understanding of entity framework and team foundation server (TFS).
MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in developing windows and/or web-based SQL applications.
