_About the Oracle Database Cloud Database Product Manager Intern Position:_We are looking for a Database Product Manager Intern to support outbound Product Management activities, customers, partners and sales engineering. The Database Product Manager Intern will be self-disciplined, organized, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through. This is a high-energy position that requires someone who is quick to pick up new skills, a person who can work well with colleagues around the world.
Perform a documentation review to update and extend existing (out of date) comparative table of spatial features in Oracle Database versus other vendors. These include Postgres/PostGIS; Microsoft SQLServer; Esri. Time permitting, update the write up of the existing competitive papers based on the new information in the comparative tables.
Build new comparative table of spatial features in Autonomous Database versus Cloud DB offering. These include Amazon Redshift, Azure CosmosDB, Esri Manage Cloud Services. Time permitting, create a write up based on the new information in the comparative tables.
Use the new Autonomous Graph Database and perform usability evaluations of features, associated LiveLabs, Sample Notebooks and documentation. Write evaluations and enhancement requests/tickets based on experiences
Time permitting and depending upon the technical skills of the candidate, a hands-on review of the usability and performance capabilities of competitive spatial cloud offerings
_Required Skills and Experience:_US Veteran transitioning from active service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Data Analytics or related experience preferred including assisting with:
Strong writing, organizational and analytical abilities
Knowledge of MS Office, Confluence or similar tools

- Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools and technologies
