Description: A Software Engineer job in St. Louis, MO is currently available through Belcan. Software Engineer Job duties:
Gather user requirements, define system functionality and write code.
Analyze, design and develop test and test-automation suites.
Provide on-going maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree
Five plus years of experience
Designing, developing, and deploying data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and user interface solutions.
Experience developing client-side applications using JavaScript
JavaScript libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery, Leaflet, D3.js
System design with Service APIs/RESTful services
Relational database design and access (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Fluent in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery
Familiarity with cloud computing and AWS
Experience in graphics programming, interactive graphics, data visualization, and data analysis
Experience with visualization tool like Spotfire is plus
