Description
Robert Half Technology is currently accepting applications for a Software Developer position for one of our St. Louis area clients. We encourage any applicants who believe they could be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company to apply today. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Clayton, Missouri area.
Your responsibilities
Deliver clear and consistent report around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams
This job's main duty is to maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems
Work together with Scrum team to deliver exact work estimates
Adjust and present production support
Habitually execute code-review and work together with other developers
Requirements
Applicants should be able to write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments
Applicants with experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc., are preferred
Familiarity with scrum is required for success at this position
Strong familiarity with Django
Python Flask experience
Foundational knowledge in Kubernetes
REST API experience highly desired
Python experience desired
Adeptness in PostgreSQL
You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc.
Familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database) are strongly preferred
Experience documenting, crafting, and testing APIs
Applicants with knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF will be preferred.
