IBM Security Delivery Specialist (Logical Identity & Access Management) in COLUMBIA, Missouri

Your Role and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for providing a single point of contact for oversight and technical expertise regarding successful delivery of user ID administration to assigned accounts.

Primary duties:

  • Serving as single point of contact for user ID administration services on assigned account(s)/platform(s) to ensure efficient and effective service delivery; reviewing and understanding all requirements; developing customer- and/or platform-specific expertise; conducting user ID-related problem determination and resolution; and ensuring all required process and procedure documentation is created and maintained.

  • Serving as main point of contact for all audit activity, including responding to data requests, coordinating the gathering of requested data, ensuring all findings and observations are addressed and appropriately mitigated; and attending audit meetings, as required.

  • Performing routine and escalated user ID administration tasks.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong understanding of Unix and Intel administration

  • Relevant experience in UserID Security

  • Strong verbal and written communications

  • Strong customer support skills

  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to rapidly learn new applications

  • Understanding of security standards and concepts

  • Understanding of fundamental application infrastructure technologies: Operation

  • System/networking, Middleware, Security, Databases, etc.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Information Technology

  • Basic knowledge in Lean methodologies and practices

  • At least 1 year experience in information technology environments (Intel, Mainframe, UNIX, AS400)
