Eaton Corporation Electrician - 2nd Shift in Ellisville, Missouri

Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking an Electrician on 2nd shift to join our team. This position is based at our Ellisville, MO.

Position Overview:

In this

position you will perform duties to maintain, modify, repair and troubleshoot a full range of electric, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic and HVAC systems used in the manufacturing and the office environment.

In this function you will:

  • Repair and troubleshoot PLC machine controls, ladder diagrams, modification/interpretation/installation, window-based systems, laser marking and measuring equipment, electro-mechanical/hydraulic machines, electronic board level components, low voltage DC controls, safe guarding/light curtains, fork lift chargers, conveyers and overhead cranes. Capable of drawing one-line diagrams. Design and troubleshoot light curtain and power press guarding.

  • Establish secondary distribution and balance loads, wire complicated circuits with multiple connections. Perform preventative maintenance per plan. Work from verbal and written instructions or prints.

  • Be required to write technical reports and be proficient in MS office environment. Team Member must be able to use small hand tools, vacuum pumps, ladders, meters and test equipment. All work shall be performed in accordance in the current electric codes and regulatory requirements.

  • Keep work area clean at all times. Follow all OSHA/Eaton safety rules and practices

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Must have an Electrical certificate or Associates degree in Electrical Industry

  • Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Ellisville, MO will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship

  • HVAC experience
