Boeing Global Services is beginning an exciting new venture into Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Product Line Engineering (PLE) based product development. We are seeking an Experienced Systems Engineer t o work on the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development team in Hazelwood Mo . The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with system architects and engineers to streamline MBSE and PLE through identification and implementation of automation techniques. One of the key first steps will be setting up a Jenkins build environment and integrating that with our MBSE and PLE tools. As the MBSE and PLE efforts are replicated to the various platforms within T&PS the candidate will help the platforms set up automation in their unique build environments.
Boeing Global Services is responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of training simulation devices for a wide variety of military and commercial derivative aircraft - everything from the new T-7A Red Hawk and MH-139 Grey Wolf to the F-15 Eagle, P-8 Poseidon and AH-64 Apache.

Working with an advanced team to develop and implement system models to support development and integration of complex training systems as well as modernization and sustainment of existing systems.
Developing system models and create representations using data architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability
Apply systems engineering expertise on requirements analysis concept/technology development, architecture analysis, risk assessments and test & evaluation for training systems
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
Provide systems engineering and MBSE thought leadership and expertise to the development and evaluation of complex training systems through parametric analyses and design trades.
Developing model profiles, tool plug-ins, architecture frameworks, and model queries in the MBSE tools that capture and analyze models of the systems being developed throughout their lifecycle from concept definition through fielding and support
Participate in the development of trade studies to support the selection of preferred design solutions and course of action alternatives in project development/product delivery.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Five (5) or more years’ experience in a variety of hands-on engineering roles.
Experience with aircrew training simulation
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship (Aninterimand/orfinalU.S.SecretClearancePost-Startisrequired.)
An ABET accredited bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience within the real-time simulation problem domain such as simulation management, synthetic environments, computer generated forces, or integration of live/virtual/constructive applications is a plus
Experience delivering products within an agile development environment
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Product Line Engineering (PLE); Cameo and Gears.
Experience developing and maintaining scripts
Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability and desire to work in a team environment
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility
Occasional travel (10%) may be required.
