Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Independence, Missouri

Industrial Maintenance Technician (x3) - Direct Placement

Pay Rate:

  • $29.65 hourly .40 cent shift differential once on D shift.

Shift:

  • D Shift: Thurs, Fri, Sat 6pm- 6am and every other Wed 6pm-6am. (Working 40-50 hours per week)

Location:

  • Independence, Mo

Industry:

  • Industrial production and packaging

  • Consumer goods

Experience required:

  • 2 years of experience in the field of industrial maintenance

  • Must have experience in production, manufacturing or packaging environments

  • Experience in consumer products or food industry great to have

Job Duties:

  • 70% mechanical and 30% electrical

  • Repairs and preventative maintenance on packaging equipment

  • Partner with production workers and other techs to keep packaging equipment stable

  • Remove and replace major electrical components (motors, switch/ control gear)

  • Troubleshoot wire and rewire relay logic safely

  • Isolate machinery and re-install electrical components
