Fiserv Senior Implementations Solutions Engineer in Jefferson City, Missouri

What does a great Implementations Solutions Data Engineer do?

You will be responsible for providing expertise and support of technical issues for the DNA CCM product suite of tools. You will act as solutions engineer, consultant, and technical partner as the primary focal point between Client and Product Management, Development, & Application Consulting for technical issues and problem resolution for implementing clients. You will lead the data conversion for all CCM ASP and hosted clients. You will coordinate with application consultants to troubleshoot and solution through CCM user acceptance testing. In addition, you will contribute to the professional services projects by helping clients with custom reporting and programming for their credit card management system.

In this role, you can look forward to:

  • Assisting customers with the conversion of their credit card data into DNA's credit card management system

  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to data conversion and application usage

  • Developing MS SQL SERVER code to convert data into the CCM constructs

  • Logging, tracking and managing all incoming service cases, maintaining current notes, providing timely (measured by internal service level agreements) and accurate resolution of client issues, while ensuring client satisfaction

  • Leading professional services solutions engagements to aid clients with their technical CCM needs

  • Responsibility for staging test scenarios in cert environments, document solutions, and disseminating knowledge

  • Contributing to process improvement techniques and the use of the latest SQL Server technology

  • Submitting system defects and enhancements to development with detailed analysis.

  • Participating in ongoing training sessions and conducting micro informational training with clients and staff.

  • Working with internal associates through swarming to resolve complex technical software and integration issues

  • Testing and validating system changes to software to ensure proper operations and freedom of defects

  • Working independently in on multiple projects

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field

  • Three years minimum experience with a Business Application Software product, with emphasis on the skill characteristics below.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Experience in credit card processing and servicing

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an IT support related department

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience coding in MS SQL Server

  • Have strong trouble shooting and analytical background with proven results

  • Strong understanding of financial institutions and the implementation processing

  • Experience managing and maintaining Microsoft SQL databases

  • Strong understanding of current Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Active Directory, Microsoft Security, and Proxy servers

  • Knowledge of remote desktop and VPN connections

  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while exercising professionalism in communication with clients and management

  • Ability to multi-task while working with multiple cases and clients. Dedication to providing the highest level of client service

  • Familiarity with the credit card processing environment

  • Technical writing experience to aid in th creation and maintenance of Technical documentation (hardware / software requirements / recommendations, user technical information, internal procedural, etc.) as needed

Travel required: 15% Percentage/frequency of travel
