Peraton Corporation Talent Acquisition Senior Sourcer in Jefferson City, Missouri


Peraton, one of the most impactful Government missions and IT solutions provider in the market, has an immediate opening foran experienced Senior Sourcer , who will provide subject matter expertise finding and attracting highly skilled technical talent. This person will join a fast-paced, dynamic Talent Acquisition team that experiments with new technologies and drives business decisions with data.In this role you will proactively develop and evolve strategic sourcing strategies and plans that will develop an ongoing talent pipeline for key critical skills within each business sector, and region.


  • Conduct market and competitor research; gather intel through prospect contact and share with the team for action

  • Source, engage and recruit passive talent by researching, creating and executing creative sourcing strategies

  • Proven ability to partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical requirements of roles to qualify external candidates

  • Screen and qualify prospective candidates

  • Develop and maintain pipelines/pools of potential talent

  • Create diverse slates by sourcing and recruiting nationwide using applicable tools (e.g., CRM tools, social media campaigns, hiring events, etc.) to find the best talent that meets business needs

  • Track leads/candidates and maintain data integrity within iCIMS, our applicant tracking and candidate management system

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • A./B.S. degree (or professional experience in lieu of degree)

  • A minimum of 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience (Recruiter, Sourcer, etc.)

  • Demonstrated experience in core sourcing skills (job requirements gathering, technical sourcing, social media, cold calling, phone screening)

  • Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume environment and delivering quality pipelines of candidates under very tight timelines

  • Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates for technical engineering and manufacturing roles

  • Demonstrated ATS/CRM (applicant tracking system/customer relationship management) experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques, including recruiting on various platforms and crafting Boolean search strings

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic and a sense of personal accountability

  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing for positions requiring security clearances

  • Ability to influence stakeholders using multiple methods and data

  • Demonstrated use of Sourcing methodologies and tools outside of standard job boards

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to process changes and hiring adjustments

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborate with others

  • Strong decision making, judgement, oral and written communication

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act:

  • This position pays$95,000 - $108,000 based on required experience and market factors
