WSP is currently initiating a search for a CADD Technician for our Downtown Kansas City, Missouri office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with our engineers and other technicians to aid in completing roadway, drainage and structural plans for our clients.

  • Create exhibits for presentations and public meetings

  • Assist with project documentation by completing various design calculations.

  • Redesign, modify, or edit existing designs

  • Possible Field/Bridge inspection responsibilities

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The selected candidate must be able to work in the United States immediately

  • High school diploma plus two years specialized technical drafting, math and computer training; formal CADD training preferred

  • Zero to three (0 - 3) years CADD experience

  • Experience in Microstation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise, Open Roads, Inroads

  • Very good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on KDOT and MoDOT projects and standards

  • Design experience

  • Formal CADD training
