This opportunity will fulfill a technical role within our Precision Cleaning organization
Technicians in this organization provide engineering support of various advanced mechanical products processed in a cleanroom environment
This technician will perform manufacturing support, process development, part evaluations, and support quality control functions
While in this position, the technician will have developmental opportunities for increasing roles of project responsibilities and management
Performs and coordinates design, development, evaluation, analysis, and/or quality control functions on advanced and complex engineering projects
Develops solutions to technical problems specifically assigned or as they arise by applying advanced mathematical, physical science, and engineering technologies
Assesses process and equipment capabilities and establishes controls
Specifies, initiates, and coordinates acquisition of manufacturing resources and techniques
Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
Ability to travel up to 10%
You Must Have:
US citizenship in order to obtain a US Dept of Energy "Q" level security clearance
2+ years experience in a related technical role
Formal training or practical experience equivalent to technical knowledge obtained in military training courses or through a two or four year technical degree
Experience working with cleaning technologies (plasma, acid, alcohol, aqueous detergents)
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies including Six Sigma and Lean
Ability in decision making and organization, planning and problem solving skills
