Trinity Biotech USA Inc Instrument Technician in Kansas City, Missouri

Instrument Production Technician 1:The Instrument Production Technician 1 reports directly to the Instrument Production Supervisor. The Instrument Production Technician 1 helps perform assembly, test and shipping preparations of new instrument products and sub assemblies. If needed, the Production Technician 1 will also be cross-trained with Equipment Services to do repairs on old or non-functioning equipment returned from the field.Duties/Work Ethic:To work safely and in accordance with FDA Regulations in an ISO 13485 and 9001 environment.To ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and procedures.To report hazards and incidents in a timely manner, according to Trinity reporting procedures.To maintain focus on assigned tasks.Personal integrity and good work ethic.Willingness to be flexible and perform non-standard, business critical tasks as needed.Responsibilities:Follow work instructions and procedures (including reading engineering drawings and technical documents).Job will consist of assembly of electronic/mechanical components and instrumentation; testing/troubleshooting instruments, sub assemblies, and components; decontamination, packaging and preparation for shipping of assemblies/instruments.Performance of assembly, new instrument setup, and pre-QC testing of systems and modules.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office products as needed to maintain current production related documents.Load software or printer drivers as needed.Support of the NCMR, and re-work processes.Attend staff training programs.Performance of all work in accordance with company policies and procedures including safety and quality program requirements.Performance of the general Instrument Production functions of the company.Cross departmental team work and communication for the efficient completion of all Instrument Production activities.Experience/Required Skill Sets and Practices:Experience of 5 years (plus) in a similar position.Knowledge and experience using hand or power tools and measuring devices.Experience in Instrument Production, manufacturing assembly, electrical testing, and instrument testing procedures.Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing systems.Experience loading software or printer drivers.Word, Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office productsDemonstrated organization, communication, detailed work, and teamwork skills.Efficient, logical and effective troubleshooting and work completion.Ability to work independently.Educational Qualifications/Systems Knowledge:Education: Associates Degree, Technical Certification, or related work experience.Other:Full-time hours with the availability of overtime as needed.Note:The above statements shall not be construed as a complete description of all the work requirements.Trinity Biotech is an equal opportunity employer.
