InComm InCentives redefines the connection between merchants and their customers through our stored value and mobile gifting solutions. As the pioneer of digital gift card delivery, we help our customers leverage their gift card programs in new ways to drive sales. The InComm InCentives platform supports gift cards sales through e-commerce, social media, promotional, and B2B toolsets. Gift cards can be delivered physically by mail or digitally to a recipient's email or mobile device.

This position will be located in our our St. Louis or Kansas City office. As part of the effort to prevent COVID-19 transmission in our community, our team is currently working remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Manage teams responsible for delivering new system capabilities and automated testing that leverage cutting edge technologies and position the platform for success in scaling to meet future needs

  • Embrace DevOps model of production delivery/ownership, partnering with App Support to build processes and practices that encourage smooth and successful production delivery

  • Negotiate and manage projects across multiple teams

  • Build strong technical teams; select, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel

  • Facilitate communications within team and across teams to encourage knowledge and expertise sharing across the Application Development organization

  • Work directly with customers to identify technology needs and build scalable, enterprise solutions

  • Ensure that projects comply with company’s standards and strategic direction

  • Establish/maintain standards and processes to support software development, defining business and systems requirements, unit and system testing

  • Work with Product teams to prioritize and estimate features for product roadmaps

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Innovative thinker and leader who takes initiative to identify new trends

  • Strong communication skills, including experience presenting clearly and succinctly to execute-level leadership

  • Understanding of SOA, orchestration, web service end point creation and integration to legacy APIs, Brokers, Service Buses and other patterns or practices that can be applied to accomplish similar goals

  • Strong command of software development lifecycle, including Agile/SCRUM, Kanban, testing, CI/CD

  • Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering and data related services

  • 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following: C#, .Net, Java, C++

  • 3+ years with Service Oriented Architecture design, development, and implementation

  • Applied and cross-domain knowledge in secure coding practices, architecture, object-oriented development, services and databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle

  • Experience in design, implementation and architecture governance within a large corporate environment

  • Strong command of testing practices, including unit/integration tests and automated API and end to end testing

  • Experience in working with large distributed teams in a highly dynamic environment

  • Experience in designing and developing web services following SOAP/REST/JSON standards

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience. Preferred degree in Computer Science
