The position is designed to assist in research for projects related to Molecular Microbiology and Infectious Disease. The position is necessary to maintain and enhance overall research productivity and support molecular and microbiology testing for both industry and federally sponsored studies. The position will involve research planning, data collection and analysis, manuscriptand grant preparation, and writing progress reports.
Consultation with Lab Director, will plan and implement research independently• Understanding and implementing molecular and microbiology techniques• Assist in literature review, design and troubleshoot protocols
Organized and accurate collection of data collected from research projects• Maintenance and organization of all data files, data scoring/coding, and computerized data entry• Manuscript preparation by working closely with the laboratory director on materials for presentation andpublication with credited authorship as appropriate.• Assisting and/or writing abstracts and preparing posters for presentations at national meetings
- Master's Degree and 1-3 years experience and Medical education and training andother biomedical or molecular microbiology laboratory work could be considered as work relatedexperience.
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $24.35, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
