Sr. Web Developer

Our client, one of the largest Engineering firms in the midwest is looking for a highly skilled Sr. Web Developer to help take their firm to the next level. This a 6 month contract position with potential to extend or be brought on in a full time capacity. This is a great opportunity to expand on your web development skills and work with a leader within their industry.

responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
Taking commercial products from conception to market
Building software in a collaborative Agile environment
Writing unit tests, performing code reviews, and taking other steps to produce quality deliverables
Managing source code using Git and Azure DevOps
Mentoring/coaching junior developers
Producing code that aligns with best practices and improving overall code quality
Role Responsibilities
Use creativity and analytical problem solving to build solutions Burns and McDonnell can take to market
Design, test, deploy and maintain one or more software products
Collaborate with team members to produce software
Work with the architecture team to make technical recommendations
Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to Agile team
Monitor code quality and adherence to standards in order to reduce defects
qualifications:
Experience level: Experienced
Minimum 5 years of experience
Education: Bachelors (required)
