The operation manager makes necessary decisions and keeps all management apprised of any situations that may occur. Directly supervises 6-8 exempt staff within the Order Processing department while indirectly overseeing all third shift activities at the Liberty Distribution Center for Stock, Warehouse, Technical Services, Building Services, and Order Control (Clerical/Computer Room). This includes assigning work to department employees and verifying that production standards are met. A significant responsibility is maintaining a higher-level management presence for the benefit of employees and management on the shift, particularly in the interest of positive employee relations.The Liberty3rd ShiftOperation Manageris responsible for the counseling, interviewing, training and evaluation of department Section Managers. Also ensures that proper maintenance is performed, good housekeeping practices are maintained, positive employee relations are met, and safety regulations are followed.Responsibilities:Provides leadership, direction, and development for all third shift managers and employees with specific attention to section managers.Coordinates workflow and the most efficient use of employees between departments and facilities.Ensures assigned work is processed in efficient and safe manner and deliver superior customer service.Promotes positive employee relations and serve as a resource to employees, addressing questions and concerns in a timely manner.Seeks to meet or exceed departmental objectives through continual review and monitoring of both individual and group results.Provides feedback, written and verbal, that accurately reflects the performance of the individual employees and encourages they achieve their fullest potential.Maintains and verifies accurate performance records on employees under immediate supervision.Responsible for the counseling, interviewing, training and evaluation of department employees.Keep costs within budget through innovation and reduce costs to keep our service competitively priced.Undertakes special projects and studies to enhance departmental operations.Assures compliance with company policies and actively support the practice of the Liberty Distribution Center's Values.Develops strong understanding of internal work processes and seeks opportunities for improvement.Ensures that proper maintenance is performed, good housekeeping practices are maintained, positive employee relations are maintained, and safety regulations are followed.Assures compliance with company policies and actively supports the practices of the Hallmark values.Requirements:To be considered an applicant for this position you must show how you meet the basic qualifications of the job in a resume or document you upload, or by completing the work experience and education application fields.
