Position Purpose

facilities, distribution centers, feed mills, hatcheries, and an innovation center in the U.S. and Canada, in addition to maintaining international sales offices. We have an exciting opportunity in our Marshall MO facility for an Operations Supervisor.

This position will be responsible for leading hourly team members to attain production and quality goals while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position is accountable for daily operations of the department and creating an engaged and team-oriented workforce to obtain business results.

A high performer in this position will identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues; ensure production resources (including materials, equipment, staffing) are available as needed to maintain product schedules; support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, efficiency, yield.

  • Champion safety processes, ergonomic efforts and creating an environment where all team members hold each other accountable for keeping their co-workers safe.

  • Actively work to prevent/eliminate hazards that cause injury or illness.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma

  • 1 years of manufacturing operations work experience

  • 1 years of supervisory experience

  • Positive attitude and problem-solving mentality

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic computer literacy – Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a food or meat processing plant

  • Bilingual English - Spanish

  • 2 years of supervisory or lead experience
