Aerotek Analyst in Maryland Heights, Missouri


  • Lead and manage overall financial transactional inventory processes for North America, including, but not limited to month-end inventory close processes.

  • Manages inventory tracking system and monitoring KPIs that meet business goals.

  • Prepare and evaluate inventory journals as well as balance sheet reconciliations when needed.

  • Prepare weekly / monthly inventory reconciliations for all 3PL locations with cross functional teams as necessary.

  • Review inventory movements ensuring all transactions are being recorded properly.

  • Work directly with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure end-to-end process is developed, strengthened and identify efficiencies.

  • Communicates with Cross-Functional teams to meet business goals and address inefficiencies.

  • Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures to control inventory of finished products as well as raw materials.

  • Reports on inventory levels, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management.

  • Partner with Operations to ensure strong controls are established and are monitored for accurate costing on all products.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Liaison with external auditors for year-end activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role

  • Expert Excel user (VBA, pivot tables, etc.)

  • Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies

  • Experience in using an ERP system

  • Experience conducting tracking and data analysis

  • Product and inventory management certification a plus
