As a Technology Architect on the DeviceWorks team you will identify new enabling technologies and platforms to help solve technical challenges, and serve as a subject matter expert for one or more software solutions. You will be specifically responsible for researching and designing enterprise document management concepts, configuring hardware for evaluation, setting up environments for validation and troubleshooting technical support issues related to content and document management solutions as well as electronic signature solutions for clients and internal Cerner domains. You will architect, deliver and support proof of concepts and pilots related to technology strategy, research and advise on existing or emerging technologies and associated services and processes, contribute to defining the vision, implementation and support strategies for technology roadmap and domain architecture, evaluate and support third party technology and vendor strategies to support solution requirements, prepare and leverage proper documentation compliant with standard operating procedures, define user needs, and provide input to functional design, testing, troubleshooting and basic system management and support, and assess risks and mitigation strategies within the technology architecture. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 4 years experience in System Engineering or Technical Consulting

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience with enterprise document management systems and electronic signature solutions.

  • At least 3 years work experience in complex, full-cycle technology implementation

  • At least 3 years experience working in Systems Management, implementation, and operations for client/server applications

  • At least 3 years experience working with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 40% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
