Description & Requirements
We are seeking an Applications Analyst to provide hands-on support for Jack Henry’s LoanVantage team with installation/implementation projects for our cutting-edge lending software platform. This tool provides commercial and consumer credit analysis, underwriting, review and management solutions, and many other lending management tools.
This individual would assist our project managers with the configuration of the lending platform including user setup, validating core data, troubleshooting customer issues during user acceptance testing, configuring technical interfaces, and configuring workflows. As installations are completed, this individual will help guide customers through the technical elements of the implementation process and communicate updates. Duration of projects can vary from short term to long term, and size will vary based on the scope of the implementation and the financial institution.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge as well as a project-based mindset, customer service skills, the ability to prioritize projects and responsibilities, and an eye toward the big picture.
This position can be based to work from any Jack Henry office or remotely from any US location.
Must have 4 years of experience in technical support or troubleshooting.
Must have 1 year of experience in the banking or lending industry or working with banking/lending software products.
Must be able to travel up to 20% to conduct on-site software implementation and user training. Travel is (Monday – Friday) and typically is 3 to 5 business days.
Experience with Excel.
Experience in Commercial and/or Consumer Lending in any of the following categories: Loan Originator or Loan Operations, Credit Analyst or Underwriting.
Provides remote or on-site software installation services. Ensures software applications are installed and fully functional.
Prior to the installation, analyzes the customers’ existing products and consults with customer to map current system to the JHA product.
Consults with customers to define parameters within the software application.
Trains the customer on use and feature functionality of the application.
Communicates the customer’s needs/expectations to appropriate personnel.
Notifies appropriate personnel of any application issues.
Interacts with Project Manager on various issues.
May assist customers in validating accurate conversion of all data.
May analyze transaction processing.
Mentors and provides training to employees.
