Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities and efforts of the Team Members in order to produce profitable, quality products within a safe environment and in a timely manner that meets the needs of the customer.

Responsibilities include: coordinating production units to achieve company-wide and individual complex goals with a minimum amount of waste or rework; establishing complex objectives; identifying the requirements to meet production needs; providing leadership & direction in establishing a safe environment and a \"Good Neighbor\" policy with the community.

Other responsibilities include providing direction and assisting in the development of managers that can be promoted to higher levels of responsibility; ensuring company personnel and benefit policies are implemented properly; evaluating various capital projects submitted by management to determine their feasibility; approving all new hires and overseeing personnel salaries and wages; performing other responsibilities as the need arises. This position is also responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality.


Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience: 10 plus years minimum experience in live and plant operations and technical skills.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, for example, checking electronic mail, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries.

Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for managing multiple groups of personnel who perform dissimilar tasks and activities in several different departments.

Travel: 12 plus trips per year.
