Jack Henry and Associates is seeking to hire a motivated and talented candidate to grow their career in as an Entry-Level Systems/Network Administrator. This team provides overall engineering, deployment, monitoring and alerting services for managed connectivity solutions enabling external clients to access the network. In this role, candidates will be responsible for the overall daily administration of providing connectivity support to business units in a Cisco environment. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills being able to deal with all levels of management, as well as a be a team player who enjoys a fast paced and technological advanced environment.

About this Team:

The TechOps Client Network Service Support team is responsible for supporting the managed connectivity solutions enabling external client to access JHA enterprise. This position will report to the Client Network Services Support Supervisor and will work on a team with 6 other technology professionals working in various US locations.


This position can be worked out of the following locations: Springfield, MO, Monett, MO, Houston, TX or Mendota Heights, MN.


  • A minimum 12 months of networking experience.

  • A minimum 12 months of technical support experience.


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Technology.

  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts and principles.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Cisco IOS Software configuration.

  • Certifications preferred (ex: CompTIA Network+, CCT, CCENT or CCNA).


  • Monitors systems for optimum performance and availability.

  • Installs, configures and maintains systems, such as LAN, WAN, Internet and/or data networks.

  • Implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves customer and internally-reported system problems.

  • Implements and monitors corporate security policies.

  • Documents and implements system procedures, policies and events.

  • Participates in on-call 24x7 support rotation.

  • Assists in performing essential functions required for effective system backup and restore testing.

  • Assists in performing periodic recovery testing of DR plans.

  • May manage data access and data permissions.

  • Assists in managing user accounts.

  • May assist support groups with applications installed on various servers.
