Newell Brands Handler Material in Neosho, Missouri

  • Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment

  • Carry or transport product to packing locations with material handling equipment

  • Pack shipment to insure safe, damage free delivery

  • Stencil, tag or mark orders as requested

  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage

  • Conduct physical inventories as required

  • Comply with OSHA, EPA, and MSDS standards

  • Required to meet production standards determined by management

  • Required to participate in inspection procedures where applicable

  • Required to work regularly scheduled hours plus overtime as needed by work load

  • May be required to perform other duties as directed by management

  • Required to follow all safety and housekeeping rules and procedures

  • High school education or GED not required

  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions

  • Good Communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Willingness and ability to learn and accept new responsibilities

  • Willingness to work all scheduled work days

  • Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly

  • Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.

  • Able to work in hot or cold environment

  • Ability to perform, routine and repetitive task including gripping and lifting 44lbs multiple times per day

  • Ability to work around machinery and moving parts

  • Ability to work with and manipulate small or odd shaped parts

  • Some picker / packer positions require the ability to work with computers and system programs

  • Limited forklift operation may also be required
