Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our company at our New Madrid, MO production facility. Corteva Agriscience offers an excellent benefits package that begins on your first day of employment.

As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities by planning work for maintenance technicians and working with maintenance and operations leadership for proper scheduling within the SAP Plant Maintenance system.


How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you.

  • Plan and kit maintenance work for the location

  • Maintain CMMS System working with the location Maintenance Supervisor/Coordinator

  • Analyze metrics from the CMMS to improve uptime and reduce costs and maintain quality data

  • Order parts or equipment to coincide with mechanics’ scheduled maintenance activities to ensure timely completion

  • Lead efforts to improve maintenance effectiveness through continuously improving preventive maintenance strategy, task lists, PM intervals, reporting content, parts inventory data, etc.

  • Ensure the maintenance activities are completed in order to meet expectations of Pioneer’s Process Safety Management process for the location

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as assigned

During peak season (approximately September through May) the New Madrid facility maintenance team rotates across a 24/7 schedule. During summer months, the site staggers back down to only one or two shifts. Hours and shift work requirements are based on customer demand and always subject to change when needed. This role may require overtime, weekend, and holiday weekend as needed to support operations. Some home-based computer work may also be required after hours to keep production running.



  • HS Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of maintenance planning / coordinating, production planning, or related work experience

  • Hands-on maintenance experience: Including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

  • Ability to lead team meetings

  • Ability to adjust department priorities on the fly based on issues that arise

  • Ability to have flexibility with changing priorities on a daily basis

  • Strong computer skills. Specifically, experience with SAP or related program is required

  • Experience using AutoCAD (or equivalent) in order to update drawings as needed

  • Problem solving, teamwork, and excellent communication skills

  • Willing and able to work in a variety of areas (field, plant, warehouse)

  • Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated areas; standing and sitting for extended periods

  • Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions

  • Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting

  • Willingness and ability to work shift work including weekends and nights as needed

The following are preferred:

  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent training

  • Previous experience in a maintenance planner or coordinator role

  • Experience/knowledge of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

  • Knowledge of root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and reliability centered maintenance (RCM) methodology

  • Self-directed, strong organizational skills, and detail oriented
