Insurance Verification Supervisor - Remote
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations assigned team (s) of the DFC by providing direct supervision to the Lead, and other DFC employees. Supervision will ensure the delivery of quality service through monitoring, development of staff on a continual basis, and ensuring proper work processes meet Numotion procedures.
Independently interview, train, and make hiring decisions.
Directly supervise a team of DFC employees; perform corrective actions as necessary, and in collaboration with Human Resources.
Develop & execute plans to facilitate achievement of DFC & Company Goals.
Organize daily work load of team.
Provide on-going coaching/mentoring to team members.
Respond to internal and external customer in a timely & professional manner.
Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
One year order processing related experience required.
One to two years previous lead, training or supervisory experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.
Able to use technology to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Solid written and verbal communication, listening, organization and priority setting skills.
Listens well and retains instructions; accepts constructive feedback from supervisor.
A track record of being consistent with attendance and prompt arrival at work and meetings.
Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and computations skills.
Assertive, self-directed; able to work without supervision.
