PDS Tech Inc Software Engineer 1 in Saint Charles, Missouri

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in St Charles, MO

Assists with the documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Gathers information to support software project management. Documents deployed processes and tools and collect metrics. Supports software research and development projects. Troubleshoots basic software issues. Works under close supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

•System & software requirements analysis and development

•System test requirements analysis and development interface design

•Test software development/coding

•Hardware/software integration

•System selloff/verification

•Research of technologies for potential application to company business needs

•Support of problem resolution associated with fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics is required.

•Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

•Experience with, software development and simulation tools (e.g. editors, compilers, linkers, desktop simulators, and configuration and requirement management tools), as well as various software languages (C++, C#, etc.).

•This position requires the ability to work within a fast paced team environment.

•Strong communication skills are essential as frequent contact with Program Management, internal and external customer representatives, and other development teams and disciplines is required.
