ITW Technical Assembler in Saint Charles, Missouri
The Technical Assembler is responsible for assembling/un-assembling and testing company product. This position may specialize in particular products or processes. Additionally, this position follows all work area related processes and procedures to assemble/un-assemble units, utilizing hand tools, small power equipment, microscopes, and other special equipment/fixtures. Finally, this position is required to complete paperwork fully, accurately, and timely and practice good housekeeping. * Assemble/un-assemble a wide range of products, using drawings, work instructions, and tests to performance specifications. * Completes required documentation. * Utilizes the inventory management System-Kanban, cycle counting, physical inventory. * Performs material handling, receiving and stocking of materials and sales coordination. * Adheres to facility safety and health requirements; wears prescribed PPE. * Maintains work area, tools and/or equipment, and machines. * Must carry/lift up to 75lbs regularly Education: * High School Diploma (or GED) required. *Experience/Skills: * One (1) year manufacturing experience preferred. * Knowledge of electronics and mechanics * Electrical wiring experience preferred * Good manufacturing operations knowledge and practices. * Computer experience required * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Good Problem solving, Multi-tasking and Teamwork skills * Good decision-making skills * Ability to maintain high productivity on repetitive tasks while working in a fast-paced environment As an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, ITW Marking & Coding does not discriminate in hiring or in the terms and conditions of employment because of an individual's race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, arrest record, citizenship or other categories protected by federal, state or local laws.
