Biochemist
Randstad, in partnership with Bayer Crop Science has an immediate position open for a Biochemist. Bayer is one of the world's leading agricultural technology companies. They are a company committed to innovation, focused on working with farmers to help them produce more with fewer natural resources.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and capable of working in a fast paced, timeline driven environment. The candidate?s primary role will be in protein purification efforts from plant and bacterial systems, therefore strong skills in protein extraction, purification, concentration and characterization are required.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
The candidate will be working in a team environment and must have strong communication skills as well. Experience with immunoaffinity techniques, various chromatography techniques, electrophoresis, and/or enzyme assays techniques are desirable. Experience with large scale protein production processes is a plus but not required. Relevant lab experience, preferably in protein biochemistry field, is required.

The successful candidate must possess M.S with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience or a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biology or related science.
