Hours from other major metro's or minutes from a bustling downtown, serene parks and outdoors-join us in calling St. Louis home.As a Co-Packaging Specialist you will be responsible for the oversight and project management of several Co-Packaging projects, as well as, day to day key functional activities within the Co-Packaging group. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with both internal and external teams including Marketing, Branding, Supply Chain, and co-packaging suppliers/partners. In addition, responsibilities of the role include miscellaneous packaging, purchase orders, supplier bidding, and supplier SAP contract edits.We're a leader in the pet care industry, which means we're not only ahead in volume, profit, and market share, we're at the forefront of innovative product development and research that no other companies have touched yet.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESSchedule co-packing and display projects to selected supplier based upon capabilities, schedule, and/or price.Monitor and generate co-packing KPIs using tools such as Excel and Power BI.Communicate with co-packers on new launches, revised packaging, bill of materials, and SKU changes to ensure on time completion.Assist in the selection of co-packing suppliers and packaging purchases for all groups within NPPC.Set up information for SAP contracts and new vendors and assist vendors with completing vendor profile forms.Work on departmental blocked invoices and invoice resolution.Performs all other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma and 5 years of general purchasing experienceORBachelor's Degree and 2 years of general purchasing experienceIt is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.To our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestl Purina.
