Design Thinking LeadThe Firm Strategic Enablement Office is seeking a Design Thinking Lead, responsible for leading firm-wide strategic transformations with firm senior leaders using design thinking, innovation, design research and project management disciplines.In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams through design thinking and other frameworks to achieve user-centered outcomes.We are seeking an exceptional communicator to lead cross-functional teams in the discovery, design, development, and delivery of amazing solutions for complex problems in strategic planning, process improvement, product design, and service delivery.The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates strong people leadership and user experience sensibilities with a deep desire for continual learning to keep up with the evolving landscape of available design tools, technologies and resources, as well as the ability to integrate business analytics and capabilities to solve complex problems with human-centered solutions which elegantly balance desirability, viability and feasibility.You will provide advocacy for human centered design, and coach and develop others (including senior leaders) through delivery of solutionsutilizing Human Centered Design principlesand design thinking techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesLead firm senior leaders through strategic transformational frameworks in pursuit of discovery and innovation.Support work teams to achieve clear problem statement definition, define big ideas and capabilities, and pressure-test ideas through design research, test and learn methodologies, and value evaluation.Effectively communicate in verbal and written venues to senior level leaders to present strategic opportunities, align to firm strategy/goals/objectives, define business cases, and develop strategic roadmaps that clearly articulate the journey toward an ideal client experience.Provide day to day people and process leadership, without direct management authority, to a multi-disciplinary team made up of both senior leaders and associates.Lead alignment between design, business, and delivery workstreams to integrate business analytics, business capabilities, user and market research into the solutioning process to ensure outcomes delivered appropriately balance user value, business value, and feasibility.Exercises strong critical thinking and sound judgment while independently making decisions within their own projects and providing consultation and oversight to those executing other projects. In doing so, the lead mustEvaluate a range of potential capabilities including change management, design thinking, process design, process improvement, and project/program management to achieve the project's desired outcomeGather and evaluate necessary perspective to independently make decisions without input from higher levelsInvestigate and resolve escalations with varying and high degrees of complexity and impactIdentify and mitigate riskSuccessfully oversee and/or directly lead multiple firm level projects concurrently.Lead the development and/or improvement of processes that have firm-wide benefits, changing the fundamental way the firm does business with regard to a particular client segment or strategy.Identify major detailed project tasks, resources, and coordinate the efforts of internal and external parties necessary to see successful project completion including external consulting firms.Position Qualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience5 years of applicable work experience2 years of Design Thinking experience, anddirect or indirect people leadership experienced preferredDemonstrated verbal and written communication skills, building relationships at all levels of the organization, and effectively tailoring messaging and approach to multiple audiencesAbility to quickly engage and inspire a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and lead/contribute to multiple large-scale efforts concurrentlyChange agility and comfort operating an
