Long term contract/temp role; possible TTH for strong match
Need to review drawings, arrange, solder...handle multiple projects.
Working from digital CAD layout, build, test, troubleshooting, repair and modification of developmental and prototype electronic designs for surgical equipment; electrical and mechanical design testing; performing product functional analysis and root cause analysis; and providing input to the creation of technical documents including technical specifications and design failure modes and effects analysis.
KEY ACTIVITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Hand soldering components onto “Proof of concept” engineering development PCBs.
Read and understand schematics. Implement, document, and test new electronic product designs. Ensure proper documentation, and verification testing, is performed.
Maintain existing electronic product designs, implementing revisions as required to support manufacturing or improve product performance.
Work with Operations to ensure the electronic designs are capable of being fabricated
Perform root cause analysis on product defects and generate summary reports of analysis and conclusions.
Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics
Technical program completion with emphasis on Electronic circuits, equivalent experience will be considered.
Skills, experience desired
At least 3 years’ experience in electronics environment
Prior use of a CAD electronic design package, Altium, OrCAD, etc., but not needing design background
Troubleshoot to component, root cause analysis techniques, and some technical writing
