EPIC DC/EMFI Certified Analyst – Remote
Estimated Start Date- 10/1/2020
Estimated End Date- 6/30/2021
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Understanding of how EMFI works (such as the of importance of CIDs vs Record IDs and how EMFI interfaces with Data Courier).
Teamwork – willingness to do the work (i.e. not looking for a project lead)
Willingness to ask questions (again, with the understanding that they have basic concepts but need help with Mercy specifics).
Understanding of Epic EMFI Administrator functions – EGC / ECI configuration, changing record / contact owners, item tracking, record propagation, utilities, etc.
Understanding of Epic Data Courier Administrator functions – item protection, enabled INI / items, utilities, etc.
Attention to detail / quality focus over speed.
Demonstrates the ability to translate technical information into terminology understood at all levels of users, both verbally and in writing.
Assist Epic support teams and vendor in determining and requesting optimal EMFI and DC INI and item configuration. Implement EMFI and DC INI and items changes.
Review the EMFI interface error logs and triage error investigations to the application teams when appropriate.
