Reporting To titleChief EngineerAugust, 2015Exemption:CM Level:Job SummaryThis position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing facility HVAC equipment. Maintaining and repairing refrigeration and deep-freeze units, including coils, compressors, recovery systems, etc .Job ResponsibilitiesArea of ResponsibilityKey Elements and Essential TasksTime Spent on TaskEquipment ManagementThis includes maintaining and repairing air handling units, exhaust fans, fume hoods, fan coil units, reheat coils, and other associated mechanical equipment.Additional duties will include troubleshooting customer service calls for temperature comfort inside our buildings. Maintaining accuracy of system documentation and limited support of new installation projects may be required. 60% or greaterAny and all other duties and tasks assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMINIMUM REQUIREDPREFERREDEducation/trainingMinimum 3 years field experience with trade school training OR 5 years total field experience.Years of relevant experienceSkills and knowledgeMust have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
