Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Saint Louis, Missouri
Job Description & Expectations:
Performing skilled machine and lathe work and performing major and general mechanical, electrical and pipe fitting work as well as a variety of building and equipment maintenance tasks in the plant or on the premises (i.e. HVAC, plumbing,)
Performing various types of welding operations required for repair and installation of equipment
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety warning labels, machine instruction manuals and schematics
Basic math skills
Writing and data entry skills
Demonstrated proficiency in performing advanced maintenance functions in a safe manner, including but not limited to the following: industrial electronics, welding, pipe fitting, carpentry, machine shop operation, small engine repair, HVAC. May be either from education or experience.
3+ years of industrial plant maintenance experience preferred – either from trade school training or work experience.
