KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Engineering (Splunk) to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the execution of establishing a roadmap and vision for information delivery and management, including the enterprise data warehouse, big data, BI & analytics, content management and data management
Architect and deliver Data solutions that fulfill the Business information needs and align with the information vision and strategy
Apply business strategy while driving technology strategy, balancing short term and long term needs to ensure that the architecture can scale and evolve accordingly
Contribute to the establishment of standards and procedures for data access and usage; specification and development of systems for capturing and tracking Splunk Platform performance metrics
Provide supports for critical end users in internal audit, incident analysis and preventative analysis events; develop and maintain platform usage guidelines and self-service materials for platform engineers and end users
Evangelize and promote platform usage, including hosting center of excellent event
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of Splunk platform administration and/or Splunk cloud engineering experience supporting over 500 users in a highly regulated environment
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Certifications in Scrum or SAFe are a plus
Experience leading a team in Agile / Scrum methodologies for both planning and engineering deliveries
Experience creating Data Dashboards with Splunk and leveraging third party software tools
Excellent soft skills and people skills, with proven history working in high demanding and efficient environment; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
