The REST 3 serves the Company Health System as a Technical Expert - radiological/imaging related clinical equipment support technician providing inventory control, repairs and maintenance as well as ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients on medical radiological/imaging equipment with an emphasis on the High-End systems. The incumbent is responsible to execute professional level services in performing; inventory assessment/audits, scheduled/preventive maintenance, and provide remedial corrective maintenance according to hospital policies/procedures and industry-recognized standards on Radiological/Imaging Related technologies. Leads in maintaining and documenting of all service events, performance tests and corrective maintenance that has been performed on imaging related clinical equipment technology types, including Radiographic Systems, Cardiology Imaging Systems, Computed Tomographic Systems, Magnetic Resonance Imagers, Radiation Systems diagnostic, therapeutic and general non-invasive imaging devices within the Company Clinical Engineering Service MCES Computerized Maintenance Management System CMMS. Participates in and/or assists with development of departmental and hospital based continuous quality improvement initiatives. This position provides operational leadership to lower tenure MCES personnel and may require temporary site management in the absence of the MCES Director/Manager. Individual will be required to perform the duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles and Company service standards. May also require non imaging related duties as well as travel to other Company entities to assist with various activities as assigned. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications: * Associate's degree AA in Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent from a two year college, technical school; Military training may be substituted or equivalent combination of education and/or experience * Bachelor's degree BS in Biomedical Engineering/Technology or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school * A minimum of a Five years' experience in the repair and maintenance of medical radiological/imaging equipment. Incumbent should have expert Vendor level expertise within a specific modality type as required for the position * Seven or more years of hospital related imaging service experience with expert level service competency or four years of OEM level support experience * Previous experience in leading and managing a radiological/imaging services teamACCE Certification; Eligible Compassion and professionalism go hand-in-hand with us, along with exceptional quality care.
