Software Asset Management Specialist I

Duration :1/28/2019-12/31/2019

Location: St. Louis, MO 63103


Entry level position for the Software Asset Management team. Daily tasks include:

Credit Card Reviews Software Cleanup activities Software demand support Service desk support Processing Software ticket requests.

Responding to SAM Mailbox requests Desktop/Laptop software purchases for the Business Assist Business with quotes for Desktop/Laptop software and for Microsoft Server products

Updating Instructional Documentation Data Entry into Software Asset Management Database (Snow)

Key responsibilities include:

Supports the development of services, applications, and processes of software products

Contributor with multiple ITSM processes and the ITSM software product

Keep abreast of changes new releases of the product

Align the software product’s capabilities to business strategies and roadmaps

Contribute to the governance process for the software product and the ITSM processes

Supports the software product support team in the delivery of new releases, renewals and maintenance

Handle multiple assignments concurrently adhering to delivery schedules and budgetary requirements

Work with the Business Analyst or individually in requirements gathering for enhancements to processes or new features such as service request opportunities

Analyze these requirements for impact on delivery, technical compliance, data integrity, and confidentiality


Associate's degree from an accredited college/university

1-2 years of general understanding of I.T. systems and tools, Software Asset Management, Requirements analyst, Project Management, and Software applications

Can handle multiple assignments concurrently

Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance processes or new features
