KPMG is currently seeking a Sr. Associate, Cloud Technologies to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Participate in troubleshooting and problem solving of development, test and production servers in AWS, Azure to support day-to-day operations and management of enterprise level production app/databases in cloud environments
Identify problem scope through proper triage and troubleshooting and develop automation scripting using PowerShell, JSON/YAML, Python to improve manual inefficiencies and streamline processes
Collaborate and work through teaming using SCRUM and Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence
Manage competing priorities in a fast-moving enterprise and thrive in a complex environment; and adapt to constant changing environment
Provide third tier support for operations and support teams; maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in agile system development
Manage and maintain existing cloud infrastructure, scaling cloud infrastructure components as needed
Minimum three years of recent and relevant experience in managing public cloud Infrastructure (Azure or AWS)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; or equivalent work experience
Strong working knowledge of Cloud networking concepts, including the management and troubleshooting of VPC's/VNets, Route Tables, Load Balancers, Auto-scaling Groups/VM Scale Sets and Network Security Groups/Security Groups; Linux/Windows Administration, Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS deployments
Strong Understanding of ITIL Framework; Service Now Preferred
Ability to apply critical thinking and structured problem solving to address root causes
Strong verbal/written communication, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
