KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Engineering to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.


  • Provide technical analysis and support of existing configuration management and automated solutions for on-prem and cloud systems

  • Design, develop and deploy automated solutions for Linux and Windows operating systems for deployment to on-prem and cloud-based systems

  • Maintain and/or create documentation of the environments including run books, technical diagrams and process documents

  • Participate in the development of strategies to evaluate and recommend automated on-prem and Cloud solutions based on customer requirements

  • Participate in various automation projects within the scope of the Automation team

  • Maintain technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in the area of automation and engineering as well as drive to deliver technology and products in the roadmap, on-schedule, with the highest quality


  • Minimum three years of recent experience in DevOps engineering with focus in on-prem infrastructure and cloud environment

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

  • Experience developing and supporting Python, Shell scripting, Splunk; experience working in code collaboration and version-controlled repositories, such as GitHub

  • Enterprise level experience with container platforms, such as, Kubernetes and OpenShift; and demonstrated experience deploying/supporting Linux and Windows Operating systems in an enterprise environment

  • Hands-on experience supporting Configuration Management platforms, such as SaltStack/Ansible/Terraform; strong troubleshooting skills across a number of technology areas: Scripting, Cloud, Automation and Configuration Management

  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
