The Boeing Company Trade Control Manager in Saint Louis, Missouri

Boeing Global Trade Controls (GTC) is seeking a manager to join its team. This position will manage a team of trade control professionals at multiple sites, supporting Boeing Global Services. This position is located in St. Louis, MO and is responsible for providing guidance, authorization documentation, coordination, processes, procedures and internal controls to facilitate the import/export of company products and services through various complex global regulations and supply chain requirements.

  • Position Responsibilities:*

    • Lead and manage a geographically dispersed team

    • Learn and understand complexities of the business and services

    • Work with program leaders, suppliers and non-US entities to support complex supply chain business models and align with regulatory requirements

    • Lead projects, develop and maintain collaborative partnerships and deliver results

    • Develop and maintain relationship and partnership with business partners, peers, and direct reports.

    • Manages, develops, motivates and inspires employees through coaching, mentoring and providing developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.

    • Provides on-going developmental feedback

    • Measures and achieves goals for productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*

    • Experience working with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

    • Experience with regulatory compliance, regulatory analysis or working with US or global trade regulations

    • Experience in licensing and strategy activities

    • Strong communication skills

    • Leadership experience

  • Typical Education/Experience:*

    • Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
