2ND SHIFT (United States of America)
This position is response for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining parts ininventory tracking system; performing usage analysis; keeping parts room cleanand orderly; dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed;identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers; releasing purchaserequisitions for approval; receiving all maintenance parts; signing vendortickets; filling out receiving reports for accounts payable; delivering partsto maintenance personnel for a particular job; stocking inventory in parts roomand printing documentation on inventory replenishment. Other duties includeknowledge of parts/tools used in plant; unload supply trucks, prioritizingdaily work with minimum supervision and other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school graduate or equivalent.Experience: Experience working with parts and tools a plus. Computer Skills:Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system that includesreceiving and accounts payable; competent in Windows-based software, such asMicrosoft Excel and Word. Communication Skills: Must be able to communicateverbally and in writing with all team members; bilingual preferred. PhysicalRequirements: Ability to unload supplies lifting 100 lbs occasionally and 50lbs frequently.
Special Skills: Knowledge, skills, and abilities to dointermediate math and accounting; perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy;ability to prioritize and multi-task; work without supervision; be detailoriented; have good attendance; ability to function effectively in a teamenvironment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations/maintenance.Travel: None
This position is slated for candidates who are currently workingat this facility, therefore, they will be considered for the opening first. Ifnone of those local Team Members are selected, then other Team Members fromother locations will be given consideration.
