Jack Henry and Associates Application Install & Support Engineer in Springfield, Missouri
Jack Henry & Associates is seeking an experienced Application Install and Support Engineer for the Springfield, MO location. Other locations include: Monett, MO with the possibility of remote.
Working as part of the UX Install & Support team, candidates will be providing support for the Jack Henry Core customer’s, both operational and technical for the Xperience Framework and Xperience products within the organization. The Xperience products gives users a one stop sign-on to all installed JHA products. This makes the passing of information quicker and allows our customers to service their customers quicker and easier! In addition to installation, this role will also be responsible for the support of the product as they are rolled out. This position will be providing external support to our customers that are in the banking environment.

•Minimum of 18 months of experience in technical support environment or a background in software development.
•Minimum of 18 months of customer service with external facing customers
•Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
•Basic networking or systems administration background a big plus.
•Experience with any of the following; IIS, active directory, group policy administration, Server OS (Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016) Workstation OS (Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10).
•Moderate to Advanced Troubleshooting and configuration experience preferred.
•Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of remote installations, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
•Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment.
•Performs remote customer work including design, installations, repairs, testing, upgrades and/or maintenance on technical products.
•Identifies customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.
•Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Resolves customer problems and answers questions.
•Serves as liaison between the company and customers.
•Conveys customer feedback to technical design and engineering staff.
•May provide ongoing application, network and security support including servers, firewalls, routers, active directories, etc.
