CNC Lathe and Milling OperatorJob Responsibilities:Knowledge of Faruc, Hass and Mitsubishi controls.Perform set-ups involving chuck changing, collect changing tool arrangements and tool set-up. Tool touch off.Read and interpret prints, travelers, sketches, and related technical data. Able to interpret GD and T Tolerances. Keep accurate part counts. Perform 1st article and in-process inspections, document inspection data.Operations involving speed and feeds of turning and milling.Perform daily maintenance on machines including maintain fluid levels. Recognize and replace worn cutters and/or tool bits.Perform duties required for set-up, load/unload parts on CNC machines to support maximum spindle utilization time. Deburr and blend all parts that are machined.Requirements: Knowledge of machine shop mathematics and calculations. Ability to read and use measuring tools.Self-starter, highly motivated, good communication skills, both written and verbal. Maintain an organized clean and safe work environment. Participate in team's continuous improvement initiatives. Work well with others.Works with minimum supervision.Education and Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience in CNC Lathe Set-up and OperationsPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. Must be able with withstand hot/cold temperatures. Sitting 10%, walking/standing 90%. Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds.
