As a Manager | Senior Technology Architect, you will identify new enabling technologies and platforms to help solve technical challenges, and serve as a subject matter expert for one or more software solutions. You will lead research and consultation decisions on existing or emerging technologies and associated services, processes and support strategies. This will include leading the evaluation of technology innovation and set direction for technology roadmap, implementation and support strategies for technology roadmap and domain architecture. You will be responsible for defining documentation requirements and assist in the preparation of proper documentation compliant with standard operating procedures as well as manage definition of user needs, and provide input to functional design, testing, troubleshooting and basic system management. In addition, you will assess risks and implement mitigation strategies within the technology architecture and collaborate with business development, IP development and partner stakeholders to align solution strategy and priorities.
Your people management responsibilities will include seeking to understand disagreements, ensuring all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution. You will delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks as well as identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed. You will be responsible for leading by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team while creating a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize their accomplishments. In addition, you will also need to provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability, and connect opportunities for associate’s development. Finally, your responsibilities will also include identifying the right talent to achieve the desired results while promoting and building a diverse cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates’ skills to fill gaps.

Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering related field or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 6 years of system engineering or technical consulting work experience
At least 1 year of people management work experience
At least 5 years of complex, full-cycle technology implementation work experience
At least 5 years systems management, implementation and operations work experience for client/server applications
At least 5 years of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting work experience
At least 5 years of people management work experience
At least 3 years of telephony work experience
At least 3 years of network segmentation work experience
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Springfield, MO area
Willing to travel up to 60% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
