This opportunity is in the Washington University Pain Center and the Basic Research Division of the Department of Anesthesiology, located on the Medical School Campus.
An opportunity is available in the Washington University Pain Center and the Basic Research Division of the Department of Anesthesiology. The Cao lab is looking for highly motivated candidates to join the effort to develop new therapeutics for chronic migraine headache. Work in the lab includes performing experiments using molecular, cellular and biochemical approaches.

The successful candidate should have a recent bachelor’s degree and are able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, organized and have multi-tasking skills. A working knowledge of computer software and general lab equipment is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Prior experience in biochemistry, molecular biology and/or cell biology (protein expression and affinity purification, ELISA, tissue culture, PCR, molecular cloning, etc.).
The hiring range for this position is commensurate with experience.
